yard update

Things have been popping up here and there for the past few weeks. Here are some of the early bloomers...

play date

A few weeks ago Margot made some new friends, Molly and Jack. Molly looks a lot like Margot in the face and they both share the same 3 colors - tan, black and white. Jack's a Corgi/Sheltie mix and the 3 of them had a great time playing in our yard.

I was in Seaside/Destin over the weekend and saw my fair share of pelicans and seagulls - I seriously thought I was in the movie "Finding Nemo." I also saw a Great Blue Heron (GBH , anyone?) but couldn't get my camera out in time to take a picture of it (the truth is Suzie refused to stop the car and let me take a pic of it, haha). Anyways, it was a cool creature. Here are the rest of the them...

Unfortunately our dear turkey friend got left in the cold and schnow on Sunday. Margot was a little upset on Monday when we discovered it...

I missed the actual falling of the snow, but I got to spend most of Monday with Margot playing IN the snow. She really liked it...and she really liked eating it.

owen + my shower

On most days Owen sits on the bathroom rug while I shower - sometimes he sneaks in between the shower curtain and the liner. Guess he just can't stand to be away from me. :) Lately he's been sneaking into the shower after I get out - don't ask me why - so I just had to take some photos of him just chilling in my wet tub. FYI -these photos were taken on different days. Maybe this is his new place of refuge? Margot's not a big fan of the tub because tub = bath.
