margot got shamed

Let me start this one off by saying that this was Jarrod's idea. Haha....sorry, Jarrod. He thought it would be funny to pile Margot's toys on top of her while she was in a comatose sleep. I thought she'd wake up after the first one, but clearly she was REALLY tired.

Okay, so I found this crazy-looking thing in my yard a couple weeks ago. I think it has to be some sort of fungus because it was dead and gone the next day. It was a couple shades of red, smelled awful and had a nasty slime at the top of it. Be prepared to vurp (vomit+burp) if you choose to click on the photos for a closer look...it's really gross. Any guesses on what it is?

UPDATE: It's called a STINKHORN! The official name is Mutinus elegans...

We've had a little chipmunk visit our bird feeder recently and he's got this stubby, little tail. I wonder if it means he's an adolescent or maybe he lost it in a gang fight or something. Either way, here he is stuffing his cheeks with sunflower seeds.

Eric and Kim picked up a Frisbee for Margot at PetsMart and she is hooked! She's still not really sure how to catch it or even how to judge where it's going to land, but we're working on it...one day she'll be catching these things. Thanks Kim and Eric!
