the swans of bruges

Whether we were traveling on a boat or a bike, we always seemed to run into a swan or two. Below are some photos I took at the Minnewater park, which is a park completely covered in feathers because it's literally owned by the swans, ducks, etc.

this guy was pissed!

bruges

Bruges was beautiful, unique and charming. We really enjoyed our stay, so much so that for a short time we thought about moving there. And then we realized we didn't want to learn French so yeah...Decatur wins!

our bed and breakfast
window boxes just pop against the buildings
beautiful garden at the Church of our Lady
a great nook/garden on the canal - loved it!
a field of red roses in a park adjacent to
the Lake of Love

happy roses!

brussels

Brussels was nice, but it didn't have many gardens or landscapes worthy of a photo. The few posted below are of the only places in the city that stood out to me.

Royal Palace of Brussels
a little place near Kunstberg and the Mont des Arts

...been a while

And I've been to quite a few places and taken quite a few pictures since my last post, so just bear with me.

Thanks.
